Yellow Window

 Het Bonnefantemuseum in Maastricht is prachtig. Dit keer wilde ik er niet alleen maar heen vanwege de kunst, maar om het gebouw zelf. Het museum is ontworpen door Aldo Rossi. Vooral de met zink beklede koepeltoren, cupola, wilde ik graag zien. Daarnaast is de Treppenstrasse (trapstraat) die naar de tentoonstellingsruimten leid prachtig. Vandaar dat mijn inspiratiebron dit keer geen schilderij is, maar deze trapstraat.

In mijn vorige blog Hoe kies je nu de juiste kleur voor aan de muur heb ik uitgelegd hoe ik tot mijn kleurkeuze ben gekomen. Met dit moodboard laat ik de gele kleur zien die ik als accentkleur heb gekozen bij mijn blauwe kleur 'Variant' van Histor.

De gekozen kleurstalen in dit moodboard zijn van Histor: Pampa geel (S 0570-G80Y) en Pegel blauw (S 1020-B), voor de vloer Forbo Artoleum Inexpected Nature Colour: 3573.

The Bonnefantemuseum in Maastricht is beautiful. This time I did not just go for the art, but for the building itself. The museum was designed by Aldo Rossi. Especially I wanted to see the zinc-clad cupola. Also very beautiful is the Treppenstrasse (stairscase street) which leads to the exhibition spaces. This time it is not a painting, but the staircase streets my inspiration for the moodboard.

In my previous blog How to choose the right color for the wall, I explained how I came to my wall color.  In this moodboard you will find the accent color the yellow with my blue color 'Variant'.

The selected color samples in this moodboard are from Histor: Pampa yellow (S 0570-G80Y) and Pegel blue (S 1020-B), for the flooring Forbo Artoleum Inexpected Nature Colour: 3573.
